If your anything like me trying to remember how to set everything up in the VW Campervan will become a bit of a brain fog.
Here at Great Escape Campervan hire we always ask everyone to allow around 45 minutes for handover, this way we can go through everything from setting up beds, using the cooking equipment, familiarising yourself with the van and lots of other tips to make your time away in the camper the best it possibly can be.
Setting up the campervan
Anyway just in case you do forget anything, which you probably will Cambridge Campervans have allowed us to share with you their How To video. This video takes you through setting up everything in the camper.
See, I told you it’s easy..
Setting up the Vango Tolga Awning
For those of you who choose to take advantage of our drive away awning, we have chosen the Vango Tolga Drive Away Awning which is specifically designed for VW Campers and is a new design for the 2020 season. The awning is easy to assemble and gives you that extra bit of space for the family. On average the awning will take around 20 minutes to assemble and uses Air Beam technology.
The following link will show you in more detail the features of the Vango Tolga Awning and pitching instructions or you can watch the video below.
Using the campervan VW Bike Rack
Another great feature is the genuine VW T6 Bike Rack, with the space for 4 adult bikes the family really can make the most of the outdoors. The bike rack is designed to work around you and is a fixed feature on the camper although the parker sensors don’t pick the bike rack up so always bear this in mind. If loading bikes onto the rack they will need to be removed before opening the tailgate. It is fairly simply to load the bikes on once you know what you’re doing, to help you out we have created this short you tube video with a few tips on the best way to load the bikes.
Your time away in our Camper is important to us so if you feel any other information would be useful please let us know. We want your adventure to be #campervantastic !!!!!
look forward to hearing from you
